Thanks to everyone who participated in our 68th #AWCChat on Twitter, about your personal health and wellness and the impact it can have on your business and professional life. Our guest host today was Aliah Davis-McHenry, Vice Chair of the AWC National Board of Directors and also known as the Get Fit Diva.

Here is what we discussed:

1)  How do you manage your health, as well as the well-being of your employees?

2)  What are your go-to methods for avoiding burnout?

3)  Let’s talk sleep: how many hours do you get? Do you have trouble falling asleep? Do you fall asleep during the day?

4)  Can technology help you meet health & wellness goals? Which gadgets or tools work for you?

Many helpful tips and Resource links were shared, too.

Summary transcript for 12 April 2012 #AWCchat: health and fitness

Thanks to everyone who participated in our seventeenth #AWCChat on Twitter, on the topic of health and fitness when your career choice is mostly sedentary or deskbound.

We subtitled this chat “Sharpen the Saw” – one of Stephen Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.

Four questions were up for discussion:

1)   What sort of movement/exercise do you recommend if someone only has 15 minutes?

2)  What are three no-fail healthy foods that should always be in stock at your house?

3)   How can we take better care of our inner selves? There’s meditation, and…. what else?

4)   Give us your top 2 tips for taking better care of yourself. Go!
