Summary transcript for 19 April 2012 #AWCchat: social photography

Thanks to everyone who participated in our eighteenth #AWCChat on Twitter, on the topic of how to harness the communications power of social photography like Pinterest, Instagram and photos on Facebook.

Four questions were up for discussion:

1)   Social photography is visual communications. How can you integrate that into your overall communications strategy?

2)  Data shows that photo updates on Facebook get the most interaction. How can communicators take advantage of that?

3)   The Pinterest digital bulletin board service has taken off like crazy, but….are you worried about copyright issues?

4)   What are some tips you’ve learned for sharing photos from mobile devices? Do you use Instagram or other editing?
